Bushman Instructions

1.The saddle is vegetable tanned leather and with a little care will last for years. As a natural product some variation can be expected. This does not affect the strength or longevity of the leather.

2.The leather may seem stiff at first, but with use will soften and stretch to your personal shape.

3.Keep the saddle dry. If it gets wet allow it to dry naturally away from direct sun or heat.

4.The Saddle may crease if the Bushman is stored folded for an extended period. This will not harm the leather but it may leave marks.

5.When the Bushman stool is assembled, a bit of wax is rubbed on the top of the legs where they insert into the pockets on the underside of the saddle. This is to prevent the leather from excessive squeaking where it contacts the legs.
If after extended use the leather begins to squeak a little , remove the three small screws securing the saddle and rub some wax on the top of the legs. A block of wax is provided for this purpose.

6.The Tasmanian Oak legs have been treated with natural Tung oil. Periodically oiling them with a quality timber oil will maintain their appearance.

7.The central pivot joint should require no maintenance.

8.The maximum recommended capacity is 85kg (185lbs).

9.Set the Bushman on level ground before sitting down. Do not use it as a step stool or foot rest

10. Enjoy the Outdoors in style !
