Bamboo contains a substance called bamboo-kun which is an antimicrobial agent that gives bamboo its natural resistance to pests and fungi. It is antibacterial and compostable at the end of its life. To take care of this bamboo product and give it a long life simply clean in hot soapy water and wipe dry. Revive your bamboo product with an all-natural cream or oil. <\/p>\n
